Sold here and nowhere else

Veloura is only sold on this site. If you find it on a marketplace, it did not come from us — and we cannot stand behind what is in the tube.

Description

An overnight wrapping mask that sets into a thin, peel-off film while you sleep. Brushed on as a smooth layer, it holds hydrolysed collagen, hyaluronic acid, Ceramide NP and niacinamide against the skin for hours instead of the twenty minutes a sheet mask gives you — then lifts off in one piece in the morning.

Comes with its own silicone applicator. Suitable for all skin types. 75 ml / 2.54 fl oz.

What makes it different

Most masks are a twenty-minute appointment you have to be awake for. This one sets into a film and works through the night.

The film is the whole trick. It stops the essence evaporating into the room or transferring onto your pillowcase, so what you brush on at eleven is still on your face at three. Hours of contact instead of minutes.

In the morning it comes away in one piece, from the edges. No basin, no flannel, no rinsing — you just pat in whatever is left.

Ingredients

Key ingredients: Hydrolysed collagen · Hyaluronic acid · Niacinamide · Ceramide NP · Glycerin.

The complete INCI list is printed on the tube and the carton.

How to use

At night, on clean dry skin: use the brush to paint an even layer over the face, avoiding the eyes and lips. Thin and even beats thick and patchy — a thick layer peels badly.

Leave it on overnight while it sets into a film.

In the morning, peel gently starting from the edges, then pat the remaining essence into the skin. Nothing to rinse.

Two or three nights a week.

Read before using

Keep it off the eye area, the lips and the hairline — a peel-off film and hair do not mix.

Do not use it on broken, sunburnt or freshly exfoliated skin.

If your skin is reactive, try a patch on the jaw overnight first.

Not the same night as an exfoliating acid or a retinal, if you are new to those.

Reseal the tube and keep the brush clean. For external use only.

Ceramide NP

One of the lipids your barrier is already built from. Keeps moisture in and everyday irritants out overnight.

Niacinamide

Niacinamide

HOW TO USE IT

Brush, sleep, peel

  1. 1

    Brush it on, thin

Clean dry skin. Paint an even layer with the brush, avoiding eyes, lips and hairline. Thin and even beats thick — a heavy layer peels badly in the morning.

  2. 2

    Sleep on it

Give it about fifteen minutes to set into a film, then go to bed. It stays put once it has dried — that is the whole trick: hours of contact instead of the twenty minutes a sheet mask gets you.

  3. 3

    Peel from the edges

In the morning, lift an edge and take it off in one piece. Pat in whatever essence is left. Nothing to rinse. Two or three nights a week.

One night will tell you. If not, send it back free

A peel-off mask is either something you look forward to or something you never do twice. You will know after the first morning — and if it is the second, the return costs you nothing.

Questions we get asked

Does it really stay on all night?

It sets into a film within about fifteen minutes, and that film is what keeps it in place. Brush it on thinly — a thick layer is the usual reason a wrapping mask ends up on the pillow.

Does peeling it off hurt?

It should not. Start at an edge — the jaw is easiest — and lift slowly. It is a soft film, not a hardened plastic one. If a patch is stuck, dampen it with water and it will release rather than pull.

How often should I use it?

Two or three nights a week. It is a treatment, not a nightly moisturiser — more often is not better.

Can I use it with the Retinal or Retinol Booster?

Yes, but not on the same night if you are still building up your vitamin A tolerance. Alternate them: booster one night, mask another. Once your skin is settled on nightly retinal, keep the mask to the nights you skip it.

What if I have sensitive skin?

There is no acid and no retinoid in it, so it is milder than most overnight treatments. The peel itself is the part to be careful with — try a patch on the jaw for one night before doing your whole face.

Do I need to rinse in the morning?

No. Peel it off and press the remaining essence in. That leftover layer is the point — going straight to the tap washes off the part that was still working.

How long does a tube last?

50 ml, brushed on thinly two or three nights a week. How far it goes depends on how heavy-handed you are with the brush — thin layers work better and last longer.
